Meet Rachel

 

rachel Coleman, ms, ccc-slp

Rachel is a licensed and board certified speech-language pathologist with over 15 years of experience as a clinician, coach, and researcher. She specializes in the treatment of voice disorders, including care of the professional voice and gender affirming voice training. Rachel received her Masters Degree from Massachusetts General Hospital’s Institute of Health Professions and her Bachelors Degree in Linguistics from the University of Michigan. With formal training in drama and classical theatre, Rachel’s work combines performance experience with clinical and medical expertise.

Rachel has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including several of the top hospitals in the Northeast: Weill Cornell Medical Center, Burke Rehabilitation Hospital, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, and Yale-New Haven Hospital. She frequently collaborates with world-renowned physicians and surgeons to provide the highest quality clinical care. Former patients and clients range from teachers to CEOs; choral singers to voice over artists; and Tony and Grammy nominated performers. In addition to providing individualized treatment, Rachel is an active speaker and presenter, offering workshops, trainings, and consultation services for academic institutions and professional groups.
